History:
1865: this year marks the beginning of a great history born of the passion for wool and the good business sense of Carlo Reda. It all began with a mill in Valle Mosso, in the Biella province, converted into a wool factory and reinforced over the years by the subsequent generations.
In 1919 Albino and Francesco Botto Poala took over the entire complex.

Since then Reda has continued to grow drawing on the traditional artisan specialization of local weavers to produce a fabric appreciated for the sophisticated elegance based on a meticulous search for simplicity. It also seeks purity and taste and expresses them through an artful stroke traced by small movements of the weaves that lend luminosity to the material.

Awesome Trousers

I must say these are probably the best thing I’ve purchased from SS - the fabric is just beautiful (yes, charcoal flannel is beautiful!) and such a soft hand - they came back from the cleaners with a great crease that holds perfectly for a long time, and sometimes w/flannel the crease can fall out. The fit is (for me) just perfect. I ordered MTM with double forward pleats, loops, and 1 1/2” cuffs. I will be ordering the lighter grey in this cloth soon…you can’t have too many pairs of flannel trousers for winter wear in Utah. I’ll post a pic but trouser photos aren’t very telling compared to other ensemble shots.

On a related note, whoever is in charge of their pants MTM program at Studio Suits deserves mention - I’ve ordered shirts and jackets as well, but the pants always come back near perfection compared to the jackets.

I didn't know what to expect as this is my first order with studio suits, well I was very pleasantly surprised as the quality of fit and material are outstanding! I was apprehensive if my measurements would translate correctly, and I did get one wrong to which they kindly emailed to check. Excellent suit and will look into different fabrics for another. Great Jacket!

We appreciated the fast turnaround for this size 40 tweed jacket. The style and material is very nice. However, a United States size 40 when compared has more space in the arms and the length is longer over the wrist - this one was a bit tighter and shorter by an inch. Will do a custom measurement order next time for my son!

Great suit!

This is a great suite - nice fabric, good construction. The only thing is that the suit jacket is longer than other suits I've purchased from Studio Suits by about an inch.
